On the operator page, type first Corinthians thirteen four through seven and choose Send as speech. Check the verse in the queue, choose Show, and watch the audience display. Press Esc to clear.

Your Deepgram key is kept on the server as a secret named DEEPGRAM_API_KEY. The browser only ever receives a one-minute streaming pass.

ProPresenter lives on the church network, so a small bridge runs on the operator computer and relays Show and Clear. It uses ProPresenter’s documented API: GET /version, GET /v1/messages, POST /v1/message/{id}/trigger, GET /v1/message/{id}/clear.

1. In ProPresenter, enable the network API (Settings › Network) and note the IP and port.
2. Create a Message named Scripture Live with text tokens Reference and Verse (names are configurable in bridge.env).
3. Download the three files below into one folder. Copy bridge.env.example to bridge.env and set PROPRESENTER_URL.
4. Install Node.js 18+ and run node scripture-live-bridge.mjs in that folder.
